Naveed Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics University of Management Sciences since August 2018. He did his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from OVGU Magdeburg in 2011. After completing his Ph.D., Naveed started working as a post-doctoral fellow at Kassel University, Germany, where he was working on a project funded by DFG. In 2013, he joined the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) as a senior research fellow. His research interest includes Numerical Mathematics, Incompressible Navier-Stokes, Convection dominated convection-diffusion-reaction problems, numerical simulations of turbulent flows. He has several years of teaching and research experience.
